HEALTH INSURANCE OPTIONS
Medical coverage is available for you and your family. The rates are based upon a three-tier system that allows the cost of employee coverage to coincide with your annual salary. Benefits include copays for visits to your PCP and the flexibility to choose a doctor within a large network.
Prescription coverage is included with the medical plan.
Our dental insurance, provided through Delta Dental, covers 100% of preventative care and has an attractive co-insurance structure for other forms of service.
Plan participants have freedom of choice through an extensive network for vision care providers. Our vision insurance, VSP, allows participants the ability to receive a new set of frames/lenses annually or the option to select contacts.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Health Care and Dependent Care accounts offer employees convenient payroll deductions with pre-tax dollars. The Health Care FSA includes a debit card to make eligible purchases easier.
FINANCIAL SECURITY COMPENSATION
The St. Gregory’s University’s compensation plan uses as its guide the Benedictine core values of hospitality, stewardship, respect and justice.
403(B) Savings Plan
St. Gregory’s matches up to 5% of eligible pay an employee contributes. In addition, each employee is 100% vested at one year of service.
Employees and their eligible dependents receive FREE tuition to pursue their educational goals. Earn your Associate, Bachelor or Master degree for free!
St. Gregory’s provides a life insurance policy equal to $15,000, with optional coverage up to $500,000.
St. Gregory’s provides an AD&D policy equal to $15,000, with optional coverage up to $500,000.
Short Term Disability
We provide employees with a policy that provides income replacement at 60% of base annual earnings. Benefits are received on a weekly basis for up to 26 weeks.
Long Term Disability
We provide employees with a policy that provides income replacement at 60% of base annual earnings. Benefits are received on a monthly basis for up to two years.

The faculty and staff at St. Gregory’s are one of our biggest assets to the success of the university. We believe that the best people to help us achieve our goals also have a clear vision of how St. Gregory’s helps them achieve their personal goals. We recognize that our employees must be able to balance their personal lives with their careers.
St. Gregory’s Work Environment
Employees work in a friendly and family-oriented environment. Both the Shawnee and Tulsa campus are easy to navigate, making it the norm to know all of your co-workers on a first name basis.
Employees are offered 12 days of vacation during their first year. Vacation time increases to four weeks based upon their length of service with the University.
Employees are offered 12 days to four weeks of sick leave to be used for their own personal illness or medical appointments or for the care of an immediate family member. Sick leave can accrue up to 480 hours.
Eleven (11) university scheduled holidays are observed annually. In addition, it has been our practice to grant additional “gift days” during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to allow employees more time to spend with their families and friends.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
At no cost to employees, St. Gregory’s University offers a comprehensive counseling, education and referral services program to employees and eligible family members.

On-Site Fitness Center (Shawnee Campus only)
The newly updated Mabee Aerobic Center on the Shawnee campus has numerous, heart healthy features to offer you today! Members can take advantage of the Cardio Room, intramural gymnasium, field house gymnasium, indoor track, racquetball courts, indoor pool and hot tub, dry sauna. Membership is free to all employees and their families.
Both campuses at St. Gregory’s is tobacco-free, making the environment and air fresh for our faculty, staff, students and visitors.
Employees are provided the opportunity to earn up to five (5) additional days off work simply by exercising three times per week for 30 minutes a session.
Employees are granted free admission to all sporting events on campus including basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball and track events. This is a great opportunity to spend time with your family on an evening or weekend.
Additional events include theatrical, dance and music productions throughout the year. Employees are granted admission to these events with the option to purchase tickets for family members at a reasonable rate.
