Admission Requirements

Admission into St. Gregory’s Adult Degree Program is different for each course of study. Below is a breakdown of those requirements by degree program.

Associate of Science in Business For admission into the Associate Science of Business course of study, students must provide documentation of the following:

  • Proof of high school graduation or GED. If transferring previously earned college credit, a GPA of 2.0 is required on prior college coursework.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • Score of 500 on TOEFL if native language is not English.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration For admission into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration course of study, students must provide documentation of the following:

  • Maximum of 62 transferable credit hours with a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Relevant work experience (optional).
  • Score of 500 on TOEFL if native language is not English.

Bachelor of Science in Business In order to be admitted into the Bachelor of Science in Business program, students must provide documentation of the following:

  • Maximum of 62 transferable credit hours with a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Relevant work experience (optional).
  • Score of 500 on TOEFL if native language is not English.

Bachelor of Science in Social Science In order to be admitted into the Bachelor of Science in Social Science program, students must provide documentation of the following:

  • Maximum of 62 transferable credit hours with a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Relevant work experience (optional).
  • Score of 500 on TOEFL if native language is not English.

Master of Business Administration For admission into the Master of Business Administration program, students must provide documentation of the following:

  • A Baccalaureate Degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution with a grade point average and academic proficiency consistent with the expectations for Master's level coursework. This admission requirement is met by students who have earned a 2.5 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate course work at the institution from which they received their Baccalaureate Degree. Students with less than a 2.5 GPA are welcome to apply, but must make an interview appointment with the Graduate Program Chair for approval.
  • A two page essay is required from all applicants as part of the application. The subject of the essay is to explain how the completion of this degree will benefit your career in the next five years.
  • A professional resume.
  • Two letters of professional recommendation on company letterhead. These references must come from individuals outside of the student’s family who can verify the student's ability to succeed in the graduate program.
  • A score of 61 on the electronic version of the TOEFL if native language is not English.
  • Students not meeting the above requirements may be considered for admission on a probationary basis. If admitted to the program, the student must attain a grade of "B" or better during the first two courses in order to remain in the program.

Master of Science in Management In order to be admitted into the Master of Science in Management program, students must provide documentation of the following:
