Sarkeys Performing Arts Center is a 228-seat theatre located next to the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art
on the St. Gregory’s University campus. It is the main hub for St. Gregory’s Department of Visual and Performing Arts' theatre and dance performances and also hosts special events throughout the year for the university and Shawnee communities.
Directions and Parking
St. Gregory’s University’s public campus entrance is at 1900 W. MacArthur St. in Shawnee. Sarkeys Performing Arts Center can be found by taking the first left off of the main entrance drive. It is the second building on the left.
Parking for Sarkeys Performing Arts Center is adjacent to and in front of the theatre. Handicapped parking is available.
St. Gregory's Theatre Program will premiere the classic, Neil Simon comedy, The Odd Couple, on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. Encore performances will follow throughout the weekend, with 8 p.m. performances on both Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, as well as a matinee performance at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $10 for Adults, $8 for St. Gregory's students and $5 for children. SGU students, staff and faculty will receive one free ticket at the Box Office when they present their university IDs. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or at the Sarkeys Performing Arts Center box office one hour prior to the performance.
