Jerry Faulkner Named New York Roadrunner of the Year
St. Gregory’s University alum Jerry Faulkner was awarded the 2012 New York Roadrunner of the Year for the 30-35 age group at a ceremony in March 2013.
To qualify for the honor, runners must be a member of New York Roadrunners (NYRR) for at least six months of the calendar year and complete at least six fully scored NYRR races across a range of distances. The Fred Lebow Runner of the Year Awards are given to the male and female runners who have exhibited the most consistently superior performances over a variety of races and distances.
Faulkner, a 2004 graduate of St. Gregory’s, was a three-time All-Region and Sooner Athletic Conference performer in track and cross country, and he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
“More hard work to come,” Faulkner said. “More future goals to reach.”
