St. Gregory’s to host Sacred Choral Concert on Mother’s Day
St. Gregory’s University Schola Cantorum is proud to present its Sacred Choral Concert entitled Ancient Sounds/Sacred Words on Sunday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the St. Gregory’s Abbey Church.
Performances will include the Gregorian Chant, music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, modern compositions based on traditional melodies and short selections from the Sacred Scriptures and hymns.
“The concert will be an inspiring event that the whole family can enjoy,” said Br. Damian Whalen, O.S.B., Schola Cantorum director. “It’s a great opportunity to take mom out for an evening of inspiration for Mother’s Day!”
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
