St. Gregory’s University was once again honored for its strong Catholic identity and recommended in the 2015 edition of The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, a resource published by The Cardinal Newman Society. The list includes 20 U.S. Catholic colleges and universities and seven international and online programs.
St. Gregory’s University’s Department of Visual and Performing Arts is set to debut its first show of the 2014-2015 season, The Glass Menagerie, this Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. in the Sarkeys Performing Arts Center. Additional performances will also take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and the final showing at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
St. Gregory’s University is excited to announce the second annual Blessing of the Animals event, which will take place this Saturday, Oct. 4, at 4:30 p.m.
Fr. Nicholas K. Ast will be conducting the Blessing of the Animals that will take place on the St. Gregory’s campus, in front of Benedictine Hall. It will be a brief ritual honoring the presence and role of animals in our lives.

For the first time on exhibition in Oklahoma, St. Gregory’s University, St. Gregory’s Abbey and the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art will host a one year engagement with The Saint John's Bible Heritage Edition, an incomparable work of sacred scripture and art.
The year will begin on October 14th with the unveiling of the Heritage Edition of the Gospels and Acts Volume at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee on the campus of St. Gregory’s University.
The start of a new school year not only brings new students to St. Gregory’s University, but new faculty as well. St. Gregory’s University is pleased to announce the addition of nine new faculty members for the 2014-2015 school year.

With a flurry of boxes, backpacks and books, St. Gregory’s University welcomed a new class of freshmen and transfer students as they moved into the University’s residence halls on Friday.
Jake Henderson, an incoming freshman from Atlanta, Georgia, said the opportunity to be a part of a new athletic program, as well as the personal attention from faculty, was what made him choose to attend St. Gregory’s.
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce that Marcel Brown, Anthony Coleman and Dany Doughan have successfully completed their doctoral studies.
