(Shawnee, Okla. – November 15, 2016) Brendan Donahue, a senior from Midwest City, will debut his senior art show, The Fall of the Ghost Marauder, on Friday, November 18, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Student Life Lounge in the Rockwood Center. The general public is invited to meet Donahue and enjoy refreshments at this free event. Donahue's work will be on display through the end of the semester, December 15.

It premiers Thursday, November 17 at 8 p.m. in the Sarkeys Performing Arts Center and continues through Sunday, November 20th.

Prospective students had an opportunity to learn more about the programs offered at St. Gregory’s, meet current students and faculty members, experienced a college class with Dr. Ron Diggs and toured the historic campus with St. Gregory’s student ambassadors.

(Shawnee, Okla. – Nov. 3, 2016) Students and faculty of the Social and Behavioral Sciences will hold a Soup Bowl fundraiser on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Dodson Conference Room. The cost for two bowls of soup and a souvenir ceramic bowl with a drink and bread will be a very affordable $10.00. Each patron will also be entered into a drawing for a framed photo print provided by St. Gregory’s University professor Dr. Theresa Bragg.
(Shawnee, Okla. – November 3, 2016) The visual arts program at St. Gregory’s University wishes to invite the community to attend the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art’s annual Regional Art Exhibition. This year’s theme is Artists for Learning. A reception for the exhibition will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday November 4 at the museum. Light refreshments will be served.
(Shawnee, Okla. – November 3, 2016) St. Gregory’s University and the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will be hosting a community blood drive Tuesday, November 8th from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. in the Great Room of the Rockwood Center on St. Gregory’s Shawnee campus.
Each donor will receive a t-shirt, health screening and Donor Rewards points, which are redeemable for items in OBI’s online store. Donors also have the option to forgo receiving a t-shirt to help donate to the Global Blood Fund (GBF), which helps support struggling blood centers around the world.
(Shawnee, Okla. – November 1, 2016) St. Gregory’s University invites area high school students and teachers to participate in the Robotics EDge program. Interested candidates will participate in a one and a half day training program on Friday, Nov. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Gregory’s Shawnee campus.
St. Gregory’s University will hold a special Community Mass at St. Gregory’s Abbey on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. in honor of and for the intentions of President Emeritus D. Gregory Main. Immediately following Mass, guests are invited to attend the unveiling of a plaque in honor of Main’s five years of faithful service and dedication to the University. The plaque unveiling will take place in the main entry of Benedictine Hall, outside of the President’s Office.
The Visual and Performing Arts Department of St. Gregory’s University is proud to announce the 2016 fall dance production, “Once Upon a Stage.” The performance will premier at 8 p.m. on October 28 and will continue through October 30 in the Sarkeys Performing Arts Center.
